How To Plan a Babyshower
Here are some tips and help on how to plan a babyshower. First you should sit down and make a list of everything you can think of that you want included in the shower.
The first consideration is when, where, what time to have the party.
You should plan to have the shower around 5-6 months into the pregnancy so they won’t have already bought everything they are going to need.Make a budget and stick to it. These can get very expensive quickly if you buy everything yourself.
You need to make sure there is enough space for all the vehicles to park. If possible ask the guests to ride share.
Your list should start with the choice of a theme. Your theme is the subject or topic of your party. An example would be a Winnie the Pooh shower.
All of your decorations, cups, and plates are Winnie the Pooh related so that everything looks organized and coordinated.
Next you need to contact the mother of the pregnant lady and friends that you know of for help with the guest list.
It is important to invite all the relatives and friends and not leave anyone out that is close. This avoids hurt feelings from anyone.
You may not know her friends at work or all her relatives.
Next you can consider what games you would like to have at the party. They should be choices that will make the guests lively and to get the people talking and laughing.Game prizes need to be listed also.
When you have the guest list complete you can now decide how much food you will need. You may ask the guests to help you by assigning a dish to each.
You can also make the dishes yourself or have the event catered.Party platters at the local supermarket work well.
The Cake is a long standing tradition and the shower would be incomplete without one.
Other considerations are the party favors and with thank you note
included. This is for respect and thanks to all for coming to the party.
These tips for how to plan a babyshower are missing just one thing now-a special thank you for this wonderful and kind thing you are doing for your pregnant friend.
