Classic Onion Dip
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix, 1 pkg. sour cream,1 cup plain yogurt Mix all ingredients. Chill in refrigerator until time to serve.
Classic Con Queso Dip
8 oz. picante or thick& chunky salsa, 1 lb. Velveeta cheese Cook in saucepan about 10 minutes; or until cheese is melted; stirring a couple times. You can also use the microwave oven for about 5 min. to melt cheese; also stirring 2-3 times.
Cottege Cheese/Sundried Tomato Dip
2 cups cottage cheese, 1 green onion- chopped, 1/4 cup green pepper- finely chopped, 1/2 cup sundried tomatoes-packed in oil,2 tlbsp. basil, 2 tsp. lemon juice, Cracked pepper to taste. Place all ingredients in a blender. Blend until well mixed. Makes about 2 cups
Crab & Clam Dip
8 oz. cream cheese, 5 tlbsp. soft butter, 5 tlbsp. french dressing,8oz.minced clams-drained, 6 oz. frozen crabmeat-thawed and drained, few dashes tabasco sauce, melba toast rounds.
Chop and combine all ingredients. Store in refrigerator.
Delicious Dip
1 cup cottage cheese, 1/2 cup grated cheese, 1 tlbsp. dill weed,1 tsp. worcestershire sauce,salt to taste.Combine all ingredients. Store in refrigerator.
Festive Herb Dip
1 envelope dry italian/garlic dressing mix, 1 envelope herb salad dressing mix, 1 cup mayonnaise, 1 cup yogurt, 2 tlbsp. chopped green onion. Combine all ingredients. Chill in refrigerator until serving time.
Raw Veggie Dip
2 cups mayonnaise, 2 cups cottage cheese, 1/8 cup chopped green onion, dash of tabasco sauce( to taste), 1/2 tsp. garlic powder, 1/4 tsp. celery seed, 1/2 tsp. dry mustard Blend all ingredientsin blender. Chill until time to serve. Great w/ raw veggies.
Sensational Broccoli Dip
1 package frozen broccoli pieces- thawed, 1(10 1/2 oz.) container sour cream, 1/2 cup ranch salad dressing, 1/4 tsp. nutmeg Chop broccoli into small pieces. Combine remainder of ingredients in a food processor, or use a mixer,until you have a smooth consistency.
Layered Tex Mex Dip
2 tlbsp. lemon juice, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. pepper, 3 avocados-medium size, 1 cup sour cream, 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 1 pkg. dry taco seasoning mix, 21 oz. bean dip-plain or jalepeno, 1 cup chopped green onion, 3 tomatoes-seeded and chopped, 7 oz. olives-chopped,8 oz. sharp cheddar cheese or monterey jack-grated, Tortilla Chips
Peel and mash avocados in med bowl. Add lemon juice, salt and pepper. In separate bowl, combine sour cream, mayo,and taco seasoning. To assemble; spread bean dip in the bottom of a large
shallow bowl or platter. 2nd layer is the avocado mixture. Top layer; place tomatoes and olives. Sprinkle with cheese over all. Best made a day ahead. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
