Baby Shower Invitations

Your baby shower invitations- When to do them.
Having a baby is an amazing time in anyone’s life and planning this is a special occasion for the host.
If you are planning a surprise baby shower for your family member or friend, there are some things that you need to keep in mind. One of them is the baby shower invitations.
These need to go out at least 3-4 months before the baby is due. This is to ensure that the mom and dad to be are relaxed and happy.
If you wait until later in the pregnancy; you might find that the mom is feeling exhausted and uncomfortable.
You may also find yourself in a situation of having to cancel if the baby decides to arrive early.
Give people plenty of time to RSVP for the baby shower. You want to ensure that as many guests can come as possible.
Don’t just give them a week to prepare. Send out the invitations at least 2-3 weeks; or even a month before the event.
The standard and traditional way is to send them through the mail.
You can also have the invites made and email the guests;text the message, or call people. If you decide on these last three options-please still send them through the mail as a keepsake and reminder of the party and all the details.
If you decide to create your own invites; visit your local party store in your area or do a search for graphics and fonts online. There are a ton of choices to help you select the one just right for you.
You can have them specially made for you or buy invitation pads to fill in the blanks with all of your data.
For personal invitations; you can make them yourself or have a few friends help you and get them done as a group.

    I liked your article.

It was very informative and covers many different options on how you can send out your baby shower invitation cards.

I thought your idea was good to still send the invitation cards via the post. As you say this is a great reminder of the baby shower day.

    Great article.
